Clear terms for shopping with Random Co.

1. Overview

These Terms & Conditions apply when you access or use the Random Co online store or purchase products from us. By using the store or placing an order, you agree to these terms, subject to rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

2. Store eligibility and account information

You are responsible for providing accurate, current and complete information when placing an order or creating an account. You are responsible for keeping any account credentials secure.

3. Product information

We aim to present product descriptions, specifications, images, compatibility information and availability accurately. Colours and appearance may vary by device or screen. We may update product information where reasonably necessary.

4. Pricing

Prices are displayed in the currency shown on the store. Delivery charges, discounts and any other applicable amounts are shown before order confirmation where relevant. If a genuine pricing error occurs, we may contact you before fulfilment and offer an appropriate correction, cancellation or refund, subject to applicable law.

5. Payments

Available payment methods are shown at checkout. Orders may be subject to payment verification and fraud-prevention checks. A payment method displayed by Shopify or a payment provider does not mean Random Co controls that provider’s separate systems or terms.

6. Orders and acceptance

Receiving an order confirmation does not prevent cancellation where there is a genuine stock, payment, pricing, fraud-prevention or fulfilment issue. If we cannot fulfil an accepted order, we will take reasonable steps to notify you and provide the remedy required by applicable law.

7. Delivery

Random Co uses Aramex Store-to-Door for standard South African deliveries. Our standard estimated delivery time is 8 to 11 business days from order processing. Delivery estimates are not guarantees. Delays can occur because of courier operations, destination, public holidays, weather, incorrect address information or circumstances outside reasonable control. 8. Returns, refunds and faulty goods

Returns and refunds are handled under our Returns & Refunds Policy together with applicable South African consumer law. Once a returned product has been received, inspected and approved, Random Co will process the applicable refund within 5 working days of receiving the returned product. Your payment provider may take additional time to reflect the funds. Nothing in these terms removes rights that cannot legally be waived.

9. Warranty

Where a Random Co or manufacturer warranty applies, its scope and process are described on the Warranty page or with the relevant product. Statutory consumer rights remain unaffected.

10. Promotions and discount codes

Promotions may have eligibility rules, exclusions, usage limits and start or end dates. Unless expressly stated otherwise, promotions may not be combined. We may withdraw or correct a promotion where there is an obvious error or abuse, subject to applicable law.

11. Reviews and user content

If you submit a review, message, image or other content to Random Co, you confirm that you have the right to submit it and that it is not unlawful, misleading, abusive or infringing. We may moderate content where reasonably necessary.

12. Acceptable use

You may not misuse the store, interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorised access, introduce malicious code, use automated tools in a way that harms the service, or use the store for unlawful purposes.

13. Intellectual property

Random Co branding, original website content, graphics and other protected materials may not be copied, reproduced or commercially reused without permission except where applicable law allows it.

14. Third-party services and links

Our store may use or link to third-party services such as Shopify, payment providers, couriers, analytics tools and social platforms. Those services may have separate terms and privacy policies.

15. Disclaimer and liability

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability, remedies or consumer rights where doing so would be unlawful. To the extent permitted by law, Random Co is not responsible for indirect loss arising solely from events outside our reasonable control.

16. South African law

These terms are intended to operate alongside applicable South African law, including the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 and the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act 25 of 2002 where applicable.

17. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms when our store, services or legal requirements change. Changes apply from the date published, subject to applicable law and any rights relating to orders already placed.
